About The Role

Group Company: TRIPATRA Designation: SAFETY SPECIALIST Office Location: AREA PROJECT PHR JPK REQUIREMENTS Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) or Applied Bachelor's Degree (D4) in any discipline with at least 7 years of experience, or Diploma (D3) in any discipline with at least 9 years of experience in construction execution and HSE management. Minimum 5 years of experience as an HSE Specialist, HSE Inspector, or equivalent role on Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Civil Construction (High-rise Buildings/Bridges), Public Works (DPU/PUPR), Mining, Geothermal, or Power Generation projects. Holds a valid HSE certification issued within the last 5 years by a recognized authority, relevant to construction safety, such as Lifting & Rigging, Scaffolding Inspection, Working at Height, Confined Space Entry, Hot Work, or other related competencies. Strong knowledge of construction HSE management, safe work practices, hazard identification, risk assessment, and construction equipment safety inspection. Good understanding of applicable HSE regulations, codes, standards, and industry best practices. Strong leadership, communication, coordination, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to promote a positive safety culture across project teams. Educational qualifications preferred Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for construction HSE by providing technical guidance, recommendations, and solutions on safety-related matters. Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HSE procedures, Safe Operating Procedures (SOP), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Construction Execution Plans (CEP), and other safety programs. Conduct and support inspections of construction equipment, heavy equipment, lifting gear, scaffolding, vehicles, and other site facilities to ensure they are safe and fit for use. Provide technical support and coaching to Construction Contractors in implementing Company HSE standards, safe work practices, and regulatory requirements. Assist in incident investigations, root cause analysis (RCA), and the development of corrective and preventive actions. Deliver HSE training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs on specialized safety topics, including lifting & rigging, working at height, confined space, scaffolding, and other critical construction activities, as required. Support the implementation of Company HSE initiatives, including Behavioral-Based Safety (BBS), Safe Work Practices (SWP), and other continuous improvement programs. Perform additional Site Work Person (SWP) responsibilities when assigned by the Company in accordance with project requirements. Report to and support the Lead Safety in implementing and monitoring HSE activities within the assigned project area.
