Microservice Backend Developer

to design, build, and operate the backend services behind our product, a modern

TypeScript

• NestJS microservices

• desktop application. The ideal candidate has deep hands-on expertise building and running
• microservices in production
• , is fluent across the
• Node.js and TypeScript
• ecosystem, and is comfortable contributing to the
• frontend layer

• Next.js and React
• alongside backend work. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on service design, API quality, and end-to-end ownership from contract to production.

• Design and build
• NestJS microservices
• that expose clean

REST

• message-based APIs
• , and own each service from
• contract design through production support

• Build and maintain the backend layer for the
• Next.js
• application, including
• API routes

and the

BFF

layer, and keep contracts between web, desktop, and services consistent.

Contribute to the

frontend layer

in

• Next.js and React
• , building and wiring UI components,
• state management
• , and data fetching against your service APIs.
• Model data and choose storage per service across
• relational and NoSQL
• stores, and define
• service boundaries and ownership
• .
• Implement asynchronous communication using
• NestJS microservice transports
• such as

Redis, NATS, RabbitMQ, or Kafka

• , including retries, idempotency, and dead-letter handling.
• Containerize services with

Docker

and deploy them to

Kubernetes

• , defining resource limits, health checks, and scaling behaviour.
• Build and maintain

• Instrument services with
