Lavin-Bernick Center - Student Organization Ambassador

Student Organization Ambassadors (SOA)will work in the Student Organization Center (SOC) as a part of the Lavin-Bernick Center (LBC) for University Life to support the Recognized Student Organization (RSO) experience. SOA’s are currently active students whose role it is to provide peer to peer support and mentorship to student organization leaders, both in new organizations and current active RSO’s. In this paid position, SOA’s will aid student organizations in navigating the RSO experience from event registration, student organization financing, and RSO renewal, to aiding in developing strategies for training and development of all student organizations on campus. They will also manage the LBC Allocation Committee which distributes Travel Funding for LBC sponsored RSO's and the LBC Allocation Committee Annual Budget process. SOA’s will be trained through a variety of ways to support the diverse student organization experiences on campus.
