JOB DESCRIPTION Craftworker Aide Hourly Pay Rate: $10.00 - $15.00 The Craftworker Aide will support the department/organization with various maintenance and operational tasks. Responsibilities: Overseeing the general usage of the lab, being aware who is using the equipment and tools. Cleaning and maintenance of equipment Supporting fabrication projects Working with students and faculty on projects and assignments Assisting with general equipment maintenance of the various tools and equipment in the shop Managing inventory and checkout of portable tools Keeping the wood shop clean Qualifications: Active enrollment as a student at Tulane University A Federal Work Study Award (potentially) Enrollment in a particular academic program or course of study (potentially) Prior experience with various equipment used in the lab such as sewing machines, saws, etc. (potentially) About Us: This position will help student employees demonstrate and cultivate the career readiness competencies in accordance with the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE).
