**Typical hours: M-F, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM** *(4–6 hours of weekly OT typically available on a voluntary basis and paid at time-and-a-half; occasional mandatory OT may be required to support customer needs)*

**Service Technician (electrical troubleshooting exp. req.) Description**

We’re working closely with **Facility Automation Solutions** as they expand their Service Team and add a new Controls Service Technician to their team in Jacksonville. Majority of their clients are within the Greater Jacksonville area, allowing for a **better work/life balance** with limited extended travel. **Service Technician (electrical troubleshooting exp. req.) Responsibilities**

• Service environmental-control and building systems (HVAC, lighting, access, etc.)
• Check and verify a variety of sensors (temperature, amps, static pressure, relays, etc.)
• Troubleshoot and repair system issues to ensure operational efficiency
• Perform system diagnostics and calibrations to maintain peak performance
• Review and interpret electrical schematic wiring diagrams
• Travel to client sites and provide remote diagnostics when possible
• Ensure equipment safety standards and maintain safe work environments
• Act as a liaison between internal teams and external clients
• Participate in on-call rotation (typically, once every fifth week)
• Pursue ongoing education and training

**Service Technician (electrical troubleshooting exp. req.) Qualifications**

• Minimum 2 years of **experience troubleshooting commercial low-voltage systems** (e.g. building automation, electronic security, telecom, fire alarm systems, etc.) required
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills including wiring relays required
• Driver’s license required
• In-office required when not traveling
