About The Role
Position Summary The Food Policy Research (FPR) Program team housed in the UIC School of Public Health Division of Health Policy and Administration is seeking up to two highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented candidates to support data collection efforts in retail food stores in two cities: Sacramento, CA and Atlanta, GA. The team is conducting a study to investigate retailer response to recent changes to SNAP programming requirements via retail food store audits. Candidates should reside within or be in close proximity to Sacramento, CA or Atlanta, GA where data collection will take place in retail food stores (travel/relocation to Chicago is not required). Eligible candidates must have access to a personal smartphone, a valid driver’s license, and a personal vehicle. Mileage and toll costs accrued during the course of the study will be reimbursed. Duties Responsibilities Complete mandatory data collection training. Conduct field audits at stores across Atlanta, GA or Sacramento, CA. Data will be collected via smartphone through an offline - mobile app. Document, maintain, and upload data. Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
