Primary Purpose

The Cricket Coach is responsible for training students in cricket techniques, improving their physical fitness, and preparing school teams for inter-school competitions. The coach promotes discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship while ensuring students’ safety during practice and matches.

Key Responsibilities

Coaching & Training

• Conduct structured, age-appropriate football coaching sessions (2–4 days per week).
• Teach fundamental skills: dribbling, passing, shooting, and basic game rules.
• Develop coordination, agility, and overall physical fitness.
• Design fun drills and small-sided games suitable for young learners.

Student Engagement & Development

• Encourage participation from all students, regardless of skill level.
• Build confidence, discipline, and teamwork.
• Identify talented students and support their development.
• Ensure sessions are inclusive, enjoyable, and development-focused.

Safety & Discipline

• Ensure student safety at all times during practice sessions.
• Conduct proper warm-up and cool-down routines.
• Maintain discipline and positive behavior on the field.
• Provide basic first aid when required.

Events & Competitions

• Assist in organizing intra-school matches and sports day activities.
• Prepare students for inter-school competitions (if applicable).
• Coordinate with school staff for scheduling and events.

Administrative Responsibilities

• Maintain attendance records for coaching sessions.
• Manage and care for sports equipment.
• Share periodic feedback with school authorities on student progress.
