Dental Assistant

Provide four-handed chairside assistance and oral surgical assistance to dental residents and students. Prepare surgical operatory, set-up for procedures under IV sedation, and assist with patient monitoring during surgical procedures. Ensure safe use, disposal, and storage of chemicals or hazardous materials. Take digital intra-oral and extra oral radiographic imaging (e.g. bitewing, periapical, occlusal and panoramic views in digital/plate/sensor formats). Review radiographs, within guidelines.
