International Scholar Advisor

Deliver immigration and personal services to foreign national faculty, researchers, scholars and their dependents. Advise on employment, travel, community resources. Administer University's Exchange Visitor Program for international faculty, researchers, and visiting scholars, execute records set up and maintenance; train and collaborate with hiring units; intervene with consular, State Department, and immigration officials when necessary. Serve as an Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO) for the J-1 program and a University compliance officer in implementation of US Department of Homeland Security's Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) regulations for exchange visitor faculty, researchers and visiting scholars and their dependents.
