Job Summary The School of Kinesiology and Nutrition at The University of Southern Mississippi is accepting applications for the position of Adjunct Instructor. This is a semester-by-semester, temporary appointment based in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Multiple opportunities across a variety of courses are available and applicants should have expertise in one or more of the following areas: Strength and conditioning (CSCS certification)/Weight Training Physical Education Sport Coaching (experience coaching individual or multiple sports) Nutrition and Dietetics Exercise Science Exercise Physiology Exercise Psychology Sports Psychology Fitness and Nutrition Primary Duties and Responsibilities Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate coursework in the School of Kinesiology and Nutrition. Maintaining course shells in Canvas for each course. Assessing student learning outcomes in assigned courses. Performs other duties as assigned.
