The Utah Department of Corrections Reentry and Rehabilitation Division that works with substance use and mental ill offenders is looking for a Licensed Clinical Therapist (LCT) to provide treatment to offenders at the following locations: Elevate Program at Utah State Correctional Facility 1480 N. 8000 W. Salt Lake City, Utah 8411 Achieve Recovery Program at Utah State Correctional Facility 1480 N. 8000 W. Salt Lake City, Utah 8411 Job Description : Join our team to help improve lives and create a safer Utah. As a licensed clinical therapist with the department of corrections you will provide group and individual therapy to individuals under the supervision of the Department of Corrections in our substance use treatment program. Treatment is evidence based and shown to be effective with a criminal justice population. You also practice through a trauma informed and gender responsive lens. Typical duties include assessments, documentation of client interactions, and treatment and discharge planning. This is a full time position with state employee benefits. Individuals with 0-4 years of licensure as a mental health professional, the hourly rate will be $34.75 Individuals with 5-9 years of licensure as a mental health professional, the hourly rate will be $38.23 Individuals with 10+ years of licensure as a mental health professional, the hourly rate will be $39.96 Individuals with a provisional license as a mental health professional, the hourly rate will be $32.28. Candidates for this Position Must Have: A Master’s Degree in a clinical mental health field i.e. social work, clinical mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy. A license to practice in Utah in one of the fields listed above. The ability to balance group and individual sessions while keeping up on documentation.
