Accountant

Job Summary The Accountant at Gilcrease Museum is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records to support the museum’s operations and compliance requirements. This role includes preparing financial statements, overseeing the general ledger, reconciling accounts, and ensuring proper handling of grants, donations, and restricted funds. The accountant collaborates closely with museum leadership and University of Tulsa finance teams to provide timely reporting, assist with audits, and support budgeting and forecasting. Strong attention to detail, knowledge of nonprofit fund accounting, and the ability to communicate effectively across departments are essential for success in this position.
