About The Role

Job Summary The Student Worker provides support for the services administered through Student Access (Pathfinders, Testing Center, Transportation Requests). This role involves helping proctor and administer exams at the Testing Center, assist with programming through the Pathfinders Program, driving students who qualify to and from classes with the golf cart, and providing accommodations in class for students who qualify (such as notetaking). Essential Functions (Responsibilities) Provides support to students working on executive functioning and other skills, as designated. Assists in proctoring exams while upholding the highest level of confidentiality. Provides accommodations during exams such as scribing and reading for students with accommodations. Assists with scheduling appointments for class transportation requests and with driving the golf cart on campus to take students to and from designated classes. Provides accommodations in class for students who qualify, such as taking notes, assisting with technology needs, assisting with fine motor skills tasks, etc. Performs general office duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry. Performs related responsibilities as required or assigned. Required Qualifications Equivalent Education and Experience: Currently enrolled as a student. Driver's license Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively. Ability to interact professionally via email and in person with students, faculty, and staff as well as coordinate appointments and testing times. Basic knowledge of office equipment and procedures. Excellent organization and time management skills. Acute observation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in Microsoft Suite; basic computer skills. Ability to take notes, scribe, and read aloud for others. Ability to uphold confidentiality in compliance with relevant laws (FERPA, HIPAA, ADA). Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in customer service or administrative role. Familiarity with office management software. Experience in a front desk or receptionist role, tutoring center, testing center, or equivalent. Knowledge of campus layout and classroom buildings. Special Job Dimensions Must be able to work consistent hours and attend work regularly. May require standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of light office supplies.
