Head Investor Relations-VISL Transformational leadership opportunity Location: Goa, India Vedanta Iron and Steel Limited (VISL) is evolving into a future-ready green steel and specialty steel company, anchored in raw material security, integrated operations, and expansion potential to support India’s industrial growth. It is a leading, fully integrated iron and steel enterprise, anchored in a robust value chain encompassing resource security and value-added production. The company’s operations span iron ore exploration, mining, and processing across India and West Africa, complemented by a diversified product portfolio that includes high-quality steel, wire rods, TMT bars, pig iron, ductile iron (DI) pipes, ferro-silicon, cement, and metallurgical coke. From steelmaking capacity of 40 lakh tonnes per annum (Goa and Bokaro), we will scale to 100 lakh tonnes per annum as we can leverage the availability of gas at our doorstep. We have the backing of high-quality and best captive iron ore mines in Goa, Odisha and Karnataka that will help us scale to 100 lakh tonnes per annum and then 150 lakh tonnes per annum. VISL is entering a transformative phase, marked by strategic diversification and expansion, operational excellence, and a renewed commitment to sustainable growth. We are seeking a dynamic and insightful individual to join us as a Head Investor Relations-VISL, to drive its momentum forward and deliver on our business goals. Key Responsibilities •Define and execute the IR strategy aligned with business priorities and growth ambitions. •Build and sustain strong relationships with institutional investors, analysts, and rating agencies. •Act as the primary spokesperson for investor communications, ensuring consistency and credibility. •Lead preparation of quarterly earnings releases, investor decks, and annual reports. •Provide insights on market trends, peer performance, and investor sentiment to the leadership team. •Partner with Finance and Strategy teams to ensure accurate forecasting and disclosure. •Advise the Board, CFO, and BU leadership on investor expectations and market positioning. •Prepare briefing materials and talking points for senior executives ahead of investor interactions. •Support capital market transactions, including equity/debt offerings, M&A, and restructuring. •Ensure adherence to SEBI, stock exchange, and global disclosure standards. •Drive transparent ESG and sustainability reporting in alignment with investor priorities. •Maintain IR systems, databases, and processes for effective investor tracking.
