About The Role

Mission / Purpose Support the growth of Visteon’s Japan business by identifying opportunities, engaging customers, and coordinating proposals—with a focus on digital cockpit, electrification, and emerging AI-based solutions. Work closely with senior account managers to strengthen communication, provide market insights, and drive design-win activities. Key Responsibilities · Develop and execute account strategies and sales plans to meet revenue and margin goals. · Build and maintain working level relationships across customer technical and commercial groups. · Analyze market dynamics, competitor activity, and customer roadmaps to create new sales growth opportunities. · Maintain a deep understanding of customer business and technical objectives; ensure alignment with Visteon’s strategy. · Support pricing, quoting, forecasting, and contractual negotiations to achieve financial targets.. · Plan and deliver sales presentations and collateral in collaboration with cross-functional teams. · Gather and analyze customer requirements (cost, functionality, features, performance) and position the right Visteon solutions. · Contribute to design-win activities for Cockpit Electronics (Displays, Clusters, IVI), Electrification, and AI-related solutions (e.g., AI Box). · Maintain and update the opportunity pipeline and reporting in a timely, accurate manner. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) · On-time, accurate maintenance of the opportunity pipeline and management reporting. · Quality and completeness of customer requirement analyses and competitive research. · Contribution to at least one proposal or RFQ package annually. · Positive feedback from senior BD/account managers on support effectiveness. Year One Deliverables · Establish a clear understanding of assigned customer development cycles, decision processes, and technical requirements. · Prepare basic competitor comparison matrices (QCDDM) and support SWOT-based proposal scenario development. · Build an initial network across customer working-level contacts. Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree (Engineering preferred; Finance/Business also considered). · Proficiency in Japanese (verbal and written) is mandatory; strong English communication skills preferred. · 2 -3 years of experience in Japanese company, preferably sales, business development, or product-related roles. · Prior experience in commercial/sales/engineering-oriented roles; strong analytical skills and willingness to learn technical concepts.
