Mission of the Role: evaluating and improving supply chain processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing data-driven solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs Key Objectives of this Role: - Maintain a friendly and professional relationship with vendors while promoting company initiatives and values - Communicate with other departments within the organization to identify efficiency issues, develop solutions, and implement changes - Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with service level agreements - Monitor days of supply to keep the right inventory levels to the right time - Prepare reports and dashboards to communicate supply chain performance - Support cost reduction initiatives and process improvements - Ensure data accuracy and integrity in supply chain systems - Keep control of premium freight targets - Analyze MRP data and supplier schedule processing - Key Performance Indicators: - Overstock improvement - Handling Shortages – root cause and solutions - Parts Inventory DOS - Supplier delivery performance - Monitoring PO cycle – closing the loop - Inventory turns - Raw material inventory level Qualification, Experience and Skills: *Bachelor’s degree in business management, operations, logistics, or a similar field * 1+ years of experience in supply chain or logistics roles * Proficiency in supply chain software and ERP systems * Proficiency in Excel * Ability to work independently and in a team environment * Knowledge of inventory management and procurement processes * Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards * Understanding of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies Key Behaviors: • solid understanding of supply chain management principles • problem-solving abilities • strong communication skills • Critical Thinking • Quantitative analysis expertise Reporting Structure: This position reports direct to the Supply Parts Supervisor 2 Visteon Culture: If you thrive in a fast-paced, organizational culture that requires agility, adaptability, and a growth mindset from its employees to thrive and stay ahead of the curve Visteon is the place.
