About The Role
Job Description: Provides respiratory care to patients for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes Develops, implements, and/or adjusts orders based on patient assessment and patient response to therapy Provides scheduled and emergency therapy and/or diagnostic tests to patients/clients per policy and standard procedures Maintains accountability for patient care delegated or scheduled to others Communicates patient/family health care needs to the appropriate health care provider Provides accurate and timely documentation in patient care records per policy and standard procedures Communicates directly with appropriate health care team as needed Participates in team conferences and/or care coordination activities as needed Required Qualifications: Education: Respiratory Therapy Associate's Degree. Licensure: Respiratory Care Practitioner or temporary permit issued by the MS State Board of Health as well as Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). Preferred Qualifications: Experience: One (1) Year of experience in all phases of respiratory care.

Education: Associate's Degree - Respiratory Therapy Skills: Assessment and care of patients with cardio-pulmonary disorders Effective verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated, organized, time-management and deductive problem solving skills Good judgment and quick decision-making ability Excellent interpersonal skills while understanding the needs for a positive patient experience Licensure: Respiratory Care Practitioner or temporary permit issued by the MS State Board of Health as well as Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
