Urology Technician - Urology/Lithotripsy - PRN

Position will take call. Job Summary: Performs a variety of services and activities for the patient undergoing a urological procedure to ensure a safe and clean environment. Required Qualifications: Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Licensure: N/A Experience: At least one year of related experience in a hospital setting. Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Ability to communicate with coworkers, patients, and families in a professional manner; to provide confidentiality in all situations. Acquire knowledge of techniques necessary for the performance of urological procedures including sterility and equipment usage. Preferred Qualifications: Education: N/A Licensure: N/A Experience: N/A Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Proficient in medical terminology. Ability to use computer and applications including Microsoft Office and webmail.
