Registered Nurse (RN) - Step Down

Reporting to the Director of Patient Cares Services/Shift Manager, the Registered Nurse is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and providing high quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process.

Minimum Education: BSN Preferred.

Minimum Experience/Skills:None

License/Certificates/Credentials

• Current: California RN license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification (required within 6 months of hire or transfer into department)
• PALS certification (if performing role of charge relief).

Physical Demands

• Prolonged, extensive or considerable standing/walking
• Lift/position up to 50 lbs. Push/pull up to 50 lbs of force.
• Frequent reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching
• Manual dexterity and mobility
• Ability to move quickly
