About The Role
Operates production equipment from Work Instructions (WI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Verbal instructions. Selects required fixtures and parts. Operates and troubleshoots calibration equipment. Performs final assembly, packing and in process inspection in assigned areas. Allows for the effect of heat to produce true and leak-free solder joints. Rejects non-conforming product. Examines gauges for defects, including final check of PSA, and rejects gauges that do not meet quality standards. Performs basic equipment adjustments based on material variations Takes necessary precautions to eliminate the possibilities of fire or burns to others in the area. Performs soldering/brazing operations to meet quality and production goals Performs equipment changeovers as needed Assists in troubleshooting production equipment. Makes adjustments as necessary to produce product within specifications. Rejects product outside of specifications. Completes daily production logs. Performs preventive maintenance (PMs) on production equipment. Communicates with operators in cell and other shifts. Cleans and maintains work area. (5S) Learns and perform additional production operations as needed Performs ancillary duties as needed
