Stanford Youth Study — US Parents & Kids (Age 9–13)

Mercor is helping recruit participants for the **Youth Well-being Project**, a research study led by **Stanford University** in collaboration with **Bocconi University**, focused on understanding how smartphones and digital tools affect children and families.

We are enrolling parents in the **United States** who have a child aged **9–13**. You can pick one child to participate with you.

## What You'll Be Asked to Do

• Fill out online surveys about your child and answer a few text-message questions
• Install a parental-control app on your child's phone for the study
• Your child answers two short online surveys and a few text-message questions about how they feel

## Requirements

• Based in the **United States**
• A parent/guardian of a child aged **9–13**
• The child has their own smartphone
• Willing to install a parental-control app on the child's phone
• You and your child are willing to take part together

## Engagement Details

• **Format:** Online surveys + short text-message check-ins
• **Time commitment:** About 1 hour of surveys overall
• **Compensation:** **$120 flat fee** for completing the study (paid once)
• **Location:** Remote (United States)
• **Participation:** One child per household
• **Timing:** Starting soon
