Director of Bioconjugation Chemist(J23538)

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished PhD in Medicinal Chemistry with a robust foundation and extensive research experience in bioconjugation to join our drug discovery team. This role will primarily focus on leading the design, synthesis, and optimization of bioconjugation techniques, aiming to drive the development of innovative bioconjugation technologies and therapeutic solutions.

Location: Shanghai, China

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the design and execution of bioconjugation experiments.
2. Develop and implement structural modifications and conduct activity assays for bioconjugation.
3. Oversee the writing of research reports and the performance of data analysis.
4. Collaborate with team members and cross-functional teams to drive project progress and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
5. Represent the organization at scientific conferences and contribute to the body of knowledge through publications and presentations.

Qualifications

• PhD in Medicinal Chemistry or a related field with extensive knowledge of medicinal chemistry.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in bioconjugation, preferably within a Contract Research Organization (CRO) or pharmaceutical company.
• Proven track record of leading successful research projects in bioconjugation.
• Expert proficiency in bioconjugation techniques.
• Ability to independently design and optimize bioconjugation technologies.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide a team of scientists.
• Strong team spirit and excellent communication skills.
• Outstanding problem-solving abilities and an innovative mindset.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
