高级研究员-高通量筛选（HTS)(J24145)

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Senior Scientist to join our dynamic discovery team. The primary focus of this role is to design, develop, execute, and manage hit finding campaigns, aiming to identify validated hits of varied modalities including conventional small molecules, covalent compounds, molecular glues, etc.

The ideal candidate should have experience in biological assay development and data analysis, coupled with a decent understanding of high-content imaging system. You will lead an advanced high-content screening platform tailored for new assay development, cell model exploration and hit finding campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

•  Develop high-content screening assays and strategies tailored to hit finding.
•  Apply high-content imaging to investigate 2D, 3D, iPSC and Organoids cell models.
•  Design, optimize, validate, and execute biochemical and cellular HTS assays for different drug modalities.
•  Operate state-of-art HTS instrumentation, liquid handling systems, and automation systems to ensure robust and reproducible screening data.
•  Perform data analysis using data analysis software.
•  Collaborate closely with medicinal chemistry teams to interpret screening results, design follow-up experiments, and drive workflow optimization.
•  Communicate with global clients via email and TC to present project update and discuss about scientific topics.
•  Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in HCS drug discovery.

Qualifications and Requirements

 A PhD Degree in Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Pharmacology, neuroscience or related area;

 Hands-on expertise in developing and validating robust biochemical and cell-based assays;

 Deep understanding and expertise of imaging based technology including high-content imaging, confocal microscopy or related instruments;

 Demonstrated ability to independently design and execute experiments and trouble-shooting;

 Written and oral communication skills in both Chinese and English, able to read and comprehend Chinese and English literatures, and able to write experimental reports in both languages;

 Excellent data analysis, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills;

 Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment;

 Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

 Working experience in the industry.

 Experience with high-content imaging and image analysis for phenotypic screening.

 Hands-on experience with laboratory automation, liquid handlers (e.g., Echo, Certus, <I.DoT>, Multidrop Combi, Agilent Bravo), plate readers (e.g., EnVision, PheraStar), and HTS data analysis software (e.g., Spotfire, GeneData Screener).

 Experience of drug discovery against neuroscience diseases.
