About The Role

Solve protein structures using X-ray crystallography technique to inform the interaction mode of compounds
Help guide the production of suitable protein for structural studies by working closely with protein science colleagues
Facilitate internal collaborations to address issues related to accessing certain protein families for structural work
Effectively coordinate and communicate timely results through presentations, e-mails and reports
PhD in the field of protein crystallography, or master degree with 3-5 years of industrial experience in the related field
Hands-on experience and demonstrated success of protein crystallization, optimization, data collection and crystal structure determination
Familiar with state-of-the-art liquid handling robotics in protein crystallization as well as mounting of protein crystals and collecting x-ray diffraction data on in-house or synchrotron radiation sources
Attention to detail, excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, ability to work in a multidisciplinary, fast-paced, goal-oriented team
Use of English in both written and oral ways
