The overall objective of the assignment aims to support Albanian institutions with EU accession and approximation processes through engagement and expertise exchanges with Diaspora members and institutions. The involvement of Albanian diaspora experts ensures the transfer of knowledge and experience from EU institutions, reinforcing Albania’s EU accession process.

By reconnecting Albania with its European talent base, the initiative seeks to

• Leverage Albanian diaspora expertise to support Albanian institutions with EU accession and approximation processes
• Strengthening institutional capacities through targeted interventions
• Facilitate partnerships between Albanian and European institutions
• Promote sustainable and economic development
• Contribute to the priority areas of Albania’s path to EU accession
