About The Role

Under administrative direction of the Chief Financial Officer/Director of Finance and Accountability, the Comptroller provides senior level financial leadership and ensures the integrity of the City’s accounting and financial reporting functions. The position leads the Accounting and Budget Division, including direct supervision, coaching, and development of professional staff. The Comptroller oversees complex fiscal systems, ensures compliance with applicable laws and standards, and supports long range financial planning and operational decision making for the City.
