**Job Overview:**

Join our dynamic team of employees at Romanow Container, we are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician at our manufacturing facility located in Westwood. This is a fast-paced manufacturing environment and the ideal candidate will need to be a quick learner with a good work ethic and have a desire to learn our manufacturing processes and learn to maintain complex machinery. Prior mechanical experience preferred, salary commensurate with experience.

**Job Responsibilities:**

Must demonstrate a professional, friendly demeanor

Good verbal skills, math skills and attention to detail

Read and understand work instructions, safety instructions, and troubleshoot mechanical issues/problems and repair equipment and machinery

perform preventative maintenance tasks on machinery

Possess a sense of urgency

Design, fabricate, and construct devices and fixtures.

Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed

## Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and safely. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

• Above average mechanical knowledge of gears and gear ratios
• Ability to weld and fabricate
• Able to read blueprints and schematics
• Knowledge of electrical wiring and circuits including three phase
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatics
• Ability to plumb and install air and water lines
• Some carpentry knowledge
