**Lead Host**

**Location:** Nicola's Restaurant – Cincinnati, OH

At Nicola's, hospitality begins the moment a guest walks through our doors. We're looking for a warm, organized, and confident **Lead Host** to oversee our front door experience while supporting the service team and creating memorable first impressions.

As Lead Host, you'll be the face of the restaurant, managing reservations, coordinating seating, leading the host team, and ensuring every guest receives exceptional hospitality from arrival to departure.

### What You'll Do

• Welcome guests with genuine warmth and professionalism
• Manage reservations using our reservation platform
• Coordinate seating to maximize guest experience and restaurant flow
• Lead, train, and support the host team
• Communicate effectively with managers, servers, and kitchen staff throughout service
• Handle guest requests, special occasions, and concerns with poise and professionalism
• Maintain an organized, clean, and inviting host stand and entrance
• Assist with opening and closing duties as needed

• Previous host or hospitality experience required
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to stay calm and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• A positive attitude with a passion for genuine hospitality
• Professional appearance and strong attention to detail
