**Position:** Janitor

**Shift:** 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

**Pay Rate:** $17.00 per Hour

**Position Summary**

The Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment throughout designated airport areas. Duties include general cleaning, disinfecting, and upkeep of airport facilities.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**

• General cleaning and disinfecting of offices and airport facilities
• Sweeping and mopping floors
• Dusting surfaces
• Emptying trash cans and disposing of waste properly
• Cleaning and maintaining jet bridges
• Cleaning stairways
• Cleaning gate areas
• Following all company safety procedures and airport security requirements

**Physical Requirements**

• Must be able to lift, squat, stoop, push, stand, and bend throughout the course of a shift
• Must be able to lift, carry, and/or hold 10–20 pounds or more, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**

• High School Diploma or equivalent may be required in some locations
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have a reliable telephone number for contact purposes
• Ability to read, write, speak, and follow verbal and written instructions in English
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screening (DOT or Non-DOT, as applicable) and comply with random testing requirements
