## Description

Chan Soon-Shiong Medical Center at Windber is seeking a dedicated, patient-focused Gynecology-Only Physician to join our growing team. This physician will provide comprehensive gynecologic care, including preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic services, while focusing exclusively on non-obstetric gynecologic practice. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical excellence, strong communication skills, and a commitment to advancing women’s health within our rural community.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based gynecologic care for adult women, including:
  • Annual exams and preventive health screenings
  • Management of menstrual, menopausal, and reproductive health issues
  • Diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic conditions (benign and malignant)
  • Minimally invasive procedures and other gynecologic surgeries
  • Collaborate with other specialists and primary care providers to coordinate patient care
  • Support two accomplished CRNPs who have built a stable practice in the community
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and hospital committees as required
  • Educate patients and community on women’s health topics
  • Support teaching and mentoring of students, and clinical staff

  • **Work Schedule:**
  • Full-time schedule with clinic hours primarily Monday–Friday
  • No obstetric call (gynecology-only focus)

## Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • Active, unrestricted PA medical license or eligibility for licensure
  • Current DEA registration
  • Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in gynecology preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and collaboration in a multidisciplinary team
