About The Role
## Description
Chan Soon-Shiong Medical Center at Windber is seeking a dedicated, patient-focused Gynecology-Only Physician to join our growing team. This physician will provide comprehensive gynecologic care, including preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic services, while focusing exclusively on non-obstetric gynecologic practice. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical excellence, strong communication skills, and a commitment to advancing women’s health within our rural community.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based gynecologic care for adult women, including:
- Annual exams and preventive health screenings
- Management of menstrual, menopausal, and reproductive health issues
- Diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic conditions (benign and malignant)
- Minimally invasive procedures and other gynecologic surgeries
- Collaborate with other specialists and primary care providers to coordinate patient care
- Support two accomplished CRNPs who have built a stable practice in the community
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and hospital committees as required
- Educate patients and community on women’s health topics
- Support teaching and mentoring of students, and clinical staff

- **Work Schedule:**
- Full-time schedule with clinic hours primarily Monday–Friday
- No obstetric call (gynecology-only focus)

## Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Active, unrestricted PA medical license or eligibility for licensure
- Current DEA registration
- Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in gynecology preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and collaboration in a multidisciplinary team
