**Jeffrey A. Miller Hospitality Group is seeking an experienced Event Captain to lead service teams at weddings, corporate events, and other special events throughout the Greater Philadelphia area.** As the on-site leader, you'll ensure events run smoothly by supervising staff, delivering exceptional guest service, and coordinating with clients, venues, and the kitchen team.

## **Responsibilities**

• Lead, coach, and supervise event staff during 10 hours event shifts.
• Manage event setup, service, and breakdown.
• Coordinate service between clients, venue staff, and the kitchen.
• Maintain high standards of hospitality and professionalism.
• Complete event paperwork and payroll documentation.
• Ensure guests receive an outstanding experience.

## **Qualifications**

• 1-2 years of leadership experience in catering, banquets, restaurants, or hospitality preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent time management sills and ability to work under pressure.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation to our venues.

## **Physical Requirements**

• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Lift and carry 30+ pounds.
• Push or pull equipment carts up to 100 pounds.
