**JOB DESCRIPTION**
**DIVISION:** Georgia Sheriffs Youth Homes
**JOB TITLE:** Property Manager
**DEPARTMENT:** Maintenance
**REPORTS TO:** Resident Director
**JOB SUMMARY:**
This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all properties and grounds on campus.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**

1. Enter and inspect all cottages for damages and repair as needed. Must be aware of ORS regulations as they apply to the physical plant of the campus.
2. Change HVAC filter in cottages, office and camp grounds the first Monday of each month.
3. Perform repairs as needed on the property and schedule major repairs with the Resident Director.
4. All purchases must be submitted to the office for approval using a purchase request form.
5. Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment. Perform six month inspections on all child care vehicles.
6. Assist part-time property personnel with grounds and property as assigned by the Resident Director.
7. All tasks must be completed in a timely and professional manner.
8. Other duties assigned by Resident Director.

## Qualifications
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS**

• Basic knowledge of household repairs and preventive maintenance.

**ABILITIES**

• Ability to successfully perform this job include, but are not limited to operation of basic hand tools, some power tools, operation of a tractor periodically, ability to change light bulbs, air filters, repair toilets and other basic, essential home repairs and preventive maintenance.

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**

There are no minimum educational requirements to be able to perform this job.

**PHYSICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES**

Applicants must be ambulatory and able to move up to 50 pounds safely and effectively at a time. This person must be able to attend work on a regular basis without excessive health related absences.

The position requires a current drivers license and a clear driving record.
