**Job Summary:**

The Cook performs the full range of tasks required to prepare grill or fryer-based foods in a high-paced kitchen environment. The incumbent will be responsible for preparing ingredients, maintaining a clean area, and ensuring that orders are made accurately and quickly for maximum customer satisfaction. This position will report to the General Manager and the Lead Cook.

**Job Duties:**

• Prepare ingredients beforehand to ease the flow of food preparation during business hours.
• Clean food preparation areas.
• Utilize a fryer, grill, and other equipment to prepare and cook menu items.
• Unpack and use sauces and seasonings per recipe instructions.
• Follow all applicable food safety guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Routinely check inventory levels and order new stocks when needed.
• Manage workflow to determine the prioritization of orders.

## Qualifications
**Minimum Qualifications:**

• Prior experience with relevant tools and industrial cookware is required.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Effective communication skills.
• Strong multi-tasking abilities.
• Able to prepare a wide variety of short order meals.
• Must be able to work nights and/or weekends as needed.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, and crouch.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

**Must be at least 18 years of age.**
