**Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)**

Job duties and responsibilities are below and include but are not limited to working collectively with the Director of Engineering & Maintenance in overseeing and streamlining Maintenance and Engineering to achieve company goals.

• Become the equipment expert for all mill related and auxiliary equipment, including Mill, Furnace, Tables, Saws, Shears, Grinders and Pickling line.
• Design and develop electrical systems and components, including power distribution, automation and control systems tailored for manufacturing processes.
• Conduct tests on electrical systems to ensure functionality and safety, troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Assist in installation and start-up of new equipment.
• Maintain detailed documentation of electrical systems, including schematics, specifications and maintenance records.
• Work with operations to improve the quality and efficiency of the process/product.
• Establish and maintain a comprehensive preventative maintenance and spares plan.
• Learn and gain proficient level knowledge of RS Logix 5000 that controls the mill complex.
• Create and maintain GANTT (or equivalent) schedules in support of capital installation, equipment repairs and upgrades.

## Qualifications
**Required Education & Qualifications**

• 4 Year Degree in Electrical Engineering or suitable STEM major desired
• Technical degree or certification in relevant field
• Project management experience preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Hands-on aptitude required.
• Experience drafting reports and organizing data.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Ability to analyze and interpret technical information, including technical drawings.
• Knowledge of ladder logic.
