Smile Starters is a **general dental practice** serving children and young adults ages **1–20**. We are dedicated to educating our patients on best practices for lifelong oral health. **Job Duties / Responsibilities**

• Review medical histories with patients or their parent/guardian
• Take dental x-rays as appropriate
• Perform teeth scaling and polishing
• Write chart notes and maintain accurate electronic health records
• Assist dentists with charting during exams
• Obtain parent/guardian consent for sealants and other procedures
• Present treatment plans to parents/guardians and obtain consent for procedures
• Write referrals and facilitate correspondence with dental colleagues as directed
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Support the dental team with other duties as assigned
