**Position Summary**

Doonan Specialized Trailer is seeking a dependable and motivated **Maintenance Technician** for our **Day Shift**. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving manufacturing equipment and facility systems to minimize downtime and support efficient production.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

**Essential Responsibilities**

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and machinery
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, and electrical equipment issues
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and respond promptly to minimize production downtime
• Install, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and facility systems
• Perform welding, fabrication, and light machining as needed for equipment repairs
• Inspect machinery to identify potential issues before failures occur
• Maintain maintenance logs and repair documentation
• Order or recommend replacement parts and materials when necessary
• Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and continuous improvement projects
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA standards

**Qualifications**

• Previous industrial maintenance or mechanical repair experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of electrical, and mechanical systems
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to read equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Commitment to workplace safety
