## Description

Quickmed is hiring a Medical Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will work at our health center, located in a bright and open office space. As a Medical Receptionist, you’ll be responsible for providing support and information to patients as they arrive for their appointments. This role involves a significant amount of administrative tasks and data entry, along with frequent communication with doctors and other medical professionals. Strong communication skills are essential for success in this position.

  • **Problem-Solving:** Ability to handle patient concerns and administrative challenges with a calm, solution-oriented approach.
  • **Confidentiality:** Understanding of and commitment to maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.
  • **Team Collaboration:** Ability to work well with medical professionals and other staff to ensure smooth operations.

## Qualifications

  • **High School Diploma or Equivalent:** A basic requirement for this position.
  • **Previous Experience in a Medical or Administrative Role:** At least 1-2 years of experience working in a healthcare setting or performing similar administrative tasks is preferred.
  • **Familiarity with Medical Terminology:** Understanding basic medical terminology is beneficial for accurate communication with patients and medical staff.
  • **Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) Systems:** Familiarity with EHR software or similar systems is a plus.
  • **Certification in Medical Office Administration (Preferred):** A relevant certification, such as in medical office administration, is an advantage.
  • **First Aid or CPR Certification (Preferred):** While not required, certification in first aid or CPR may be beneficial.
  • **Bilingual (Preferred):** Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus, especially in diverse communities.
