**Job Overview**

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced medical environment. This position requires a strong foundation in medical terminology, patient service, and clinical procedures, making it essential for candidates to have experience in various medical settings, including outpatient clinics, urgent care, and hospital medicine.

**Responsibilities**

  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
  • Perform intake assessments, including taking vital signs and documenting patient history
  • Administer medications as directed by physicians and monitor patients for adverse reactions
  • Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and ensure compliance with medical coding standards (ICD coding)
  • Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly
  • Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and coordinating referrals

## Qualifications

**Experience**

Candidates should possess the following skills and experience

  • Knowledge of ENT/Allergy/Asthma is desired but not required
  • Prior work experience as a Medical Assistant
  • Familiarity with basic life support (BLS) protocols and emergency response procedures
  • Proficiency in EHR systems for effective patient documentation
  • Understanding of anatomy and physiology to assist in patient assessments effectively
