We are seeking an **Advanced Quality Technician** to support our manufacturing operations by ensuring documentation, and components meet rigorous safety, regulatory, and customer engineering specifications.
**What You’ll Do**
In this role, you’ll work closely with engineering, production, and assembly teams to support daily manufacturing needs performing activities such as AS9100 preparation and completion, ballooning drawings, and potentially final inspection of product ready to ship to the customer.
**Key Responsibilities Include:**
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, contracts, and customer requirements to ensure product quality and compliance including GD&T
- Prepare and review First Article Inspection (FAI) packages, AS9102 documentation, and inspection reports for accuracy and completeness
- Perform in-process, final, and spot inspections to verify dimensional, mechanical, and visual product conformity
- Use of Hand Inspection Tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gage, profilometer, radius gage, air gages, bore gage, etc.
- Conduct product testing and record inspection results in accordance with quality management procedures and customer requirements
- Review certifications, materials, processing documentation, and manufacturing records for compliance and traceability
- Identify, document, and support resolution of nonconforming materials or products through established quality processes
- Support manufacturing operations with process improvements, training, inspection guidance, and quality best practices
- Ensure measuring and inspection equipment is calibrated, maintained, and used properly
- Maintain organized document control and quality records in accordance with QMS procedures and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to support risk management, quality initiatives, and operational improvements
- Follow all company quality standards, customer requirements, safety procedures, and regulatory guidelines

## Qualifications
**What We’re Looking For**
- Associates Degree preferred, High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 6 months – 1 year of related experience or a combination of education and experience
**Work Environment and Physical Requirements**
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers to handle/feel, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, pull, balance, carry, and handle materials throughout the day.
- Combination of office and manufacturing floor work
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, and handle materials throughout the day
- Occasionally lift up to **50 lbs**
- Comfortable working around machinery and on concrete floors
- Proper PPE required and provided
