Carroll Lutheran Village is seeking a dedicated **Full-Time Cook Supervisor** to join our caring, mission-driven community. If you are passionate about culinary excellence, team leadership, and creating exceptional dining experiences, we invite you to bring your talents to our organization.

This position includes **one day off during the week and every other weekend**, with shifts varying between **8:00am to 4:00pm** and **11:30am to 7:30pm, based on the staffing schedule and needs of the department.**

### **What You'll Do:**

• Supervise and support kitchen staff
• Oversee food preparation, service, and presentation
• Manage inventory, ordering, scheduling, and production logs
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance
• Train, coach, and develop team members
• Address customer concerns and promote resident satisfaction
• Support special events and dining functions as needed

## Qualifications
**What You’ll Need as a Cook Supervisor:**

• High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary school training preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant culinary experience, with prior supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
• Knowledge of clinical and dietary requirements for residents across varying levels of care.
• ServSafe Certification required; must be obtained or renewed within 90 days of hire, if expired.
• Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and handling practices in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Basic proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
