**SUMMARY:** Responsible for cleaning offices, and lavatories/bathrooms according to a housekeeping schedule.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** include the following, as well as performance of other work related duties as assigned:

1. Performs general cleaning and sanitizing tasks and services throughout assigned property.
2. Uses cleaning cart to transport cleaning supplies.
3. Cleans and disinfects restrooms.
4. Cleans and disinfects dining areas and break room
5. Cleans and disinfects office spaces
6. Cleans and disinfects administration and residential common areas
7. Sweeps, dusts, mops, scrubs, washes, vacuums, all floors/rugs and surfaces in offices and rooms. Clean walls, woodwork, windows, mirrors, furniture, equipment, and hardware
8. Stocks appropriate supplies in restrooms.
9. Collects and disposes of trash and garbage; transport trash to dumpsters.
10. Moves equipment and furniture such as tables, and chairs.
11. Reports defects in the dept. And the agency.
12. Observes and reports safety violations; actively participates in emergency situations
13. Place maintenance request/workorders in the WestCare Intranet system
14. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
15. Inventory stock to ensure that supplies and equipment are available in adequate amounts.
16. Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using appropriate cleaning supplies, sponges, or squeegees
17. Performs other related duties as assigned.

## Qualifications
**EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:**

• Requires a minimum of a High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.).
• Must have knowledge of housekeeping procedures.
• Must be dependable and have ability to follow directions.
