**Clack Corporation, a privately held company, established over 70 years ago is now hiring! We are a leading manufacturer and distributor of water treatment components and drinking water products, as well as specialized in custom blow molding products.**

**We are looking for an Electronics Technician to join our team.**

**Summary:** **Conduct testing of control valve software and hardware to ensure proper functionality.**

  1. Use schematic drawings and software logic diagrams for reference in testing software.
  2. Actuates all features on product to assure proper functionality.
  3. Tests hardware and software functionality of water treatment controls.
  4. Confirms final software product meets the specifications.
  5. Measure voltages/currents/resistance utilizing a digital multi-meter.
  6. Monitor control operation utilizing oscilloscope.
  7. Identify software issues and document findings.
  8. Interact with electrical and software engineers as necessary.
  9. Effectively communicate any electronic or software issues with management, technical support, sales, production staff, purchasing, engineering, accounting, suppliers, and customers.
  10. Evaluate test results of pilot models and recommend changes to eliminate malfunctions.
  11. Participate in cross-functional teams to address and resolve manufacturing, design, and quality problems.
  12. Ensure continuous on-going improvement of processes and methods
  13. Perform light soldering and electrical component assembly.
  14. Review of board quality issues to help determine root causes.
  15. Composing technical procedures, instructions, and reports.
  16. Follow and comply with all quality, safety, and work rules.
  17. Perform other duties as assigned.

## Qualifications

  1. Associate degree in electronics or equivalent experience.
  2. Ability to create/read: schematics, engineering drawings, technical procedures, instructions, reports, software logic diagrams and other documents.
  3. Able to work independently.
  4. Familiarity with water treatment, specifically, control valve operation.
  5. Ability to effectively use multi-meter, oscilloscope and other test equipment and gauges.
  6. Excellent communication skills.
  7. Strong organizational skills.
  8. Proficient computer experience with word processing, spreadsheets, etc.
  9. Electrical/electronic background required.
  10. Familiarity with embedded programming languages (C/C++/Assembly)
  11. Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical data.
  12. Extended sitting and standing. Capable of lifting to 25 pounds.
  13. Attention to detail.
