At **Christ the King Manor**, we believe every day should bring purpose, joy, and meaningful connections for our residents. We're looking for a compassionate, energetic **Activities Aide** who enjoys working with seniors and creating fun, engaging experiences that enrich their lives.

**What You'll Do**

As an Activities Aide, you'll help plan and lead engaging programs that encourage residents to stay active, social, and connected. Responsibilities include:

• Assist with daily recreational, social, and therapeutic activities
• Encourage residents to participate in activities based on their interests and abilities
• Prepare activity rooms, supplies, and equipment before programs
• Announce upcoming activities and escort residents to and from events
• Assist residents with crafts, ceramics, games, parties, movies, and special events
• Help create seasonal decorations and activity displays
• Accompany residents on community outings when scheduled
• Deliver mail, flowers, and personal items to residents and read mail upon request
• Ensure resident safety during transportation and activities
• Supervise activities as directed by the Activities Department
• Perform other related duties as assigned

**Qualifications**

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience in long-term care or working with older adults is a plus
• Artistic, creative, or recreational activity experience is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, dependable, and enthusiastic personality
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
