Assistant Production Manager

**EDUCATION:** High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
**JOB SUMMARY**
As Assistant Production Manager, you must motivate, support, and provide guidance to production staff.
**GENERAL REQUIREMENTS**

• Communicate with management team regarding problems or issues impacting production.
• Produce Staffing schedules.
• Train new and current employees on production equipment, safety and cleaning.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Must have knowledge of the English language, including the meaning of words and grammar.
• Must have knowledge of management principles involved in resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
• Must have knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, and leading.
• Must have knowledge of raw materials, store production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing store profitability and Customer service.
• Discharges or promotes employees according to Company standards.

**MINIMUM CAPABILITIES**

• Ability to work at a fast pace and much colder environment.
• Ability to read and understand rules and instructions.
• Ability to reach, see, talk, heart, stand, and walk quickly for a minimum of 10 hours a day.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds at various times.
• Job may require a lot of standing or walking.
• Ability to problem-solve, plan, motivate, and take initiative.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**

• Provides and portrays proper and professional customer service.
• Works with Human Resources to resolve or assist workers to resolve work problems.
• Demonstrates professionalism, proper food preparation techniques.
• Arrives promptly to work each scheduled day.
• Ensures all safety policies and procedures are being followed.
• Works with Human Resources on any Productions members disciplinary actions after any violation of Company policies and procedures.

**ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES**

1. Learns and performs other positions as needed.
2. Uses professional and proper oral and written communication techniques.
3. Uses knowledge of food handling rules.
4. Understands and applies Company along with government food service regulations and minor labor law guidelines.

**Job Type:** Full-time

**Pay:** $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

• Manufacturing: 4 years (Preferred)
