**JOB SUMMARY**
Park Center Health and Fitness is looking for an energetic and motivated individual to be a part of our fitness team.
The Fitness Desk Staff member is responsible for overseeing the fitness center during assigned shifts, and performing the following duties, but not limited to:

• Check patrons into computer system, answer the phone and complete transactions on the computer.
• Ensure patrons are following the rules, encourage patrons to clean their machines, and provide great customer service.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the facility by refilling amenities, completing laundry, and cleaning locker rooms, fitness equipment, and the fitness desk area.
• Conduct facility tours and track prospective member inquiries.
• Provide equipment orientations for new members.
• Administer basic first aid to patrons when needed.
• Perform duties that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods of time.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Friendly, enthusiastic, and energetic personality required.
• Previous customer service experience is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
• Proficiency with computers and basic computer applications.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old of age.

• **SCHEDULING & PAY**
• This is a **year-round** part-time. Seasonal applicants will not be considered. Starting pay is $16-$18/hour depending on qualifications.

Position will work approximately 15 to 20 hours / week, including the following set schedule

• Tuesdays & Thursdays 4:45pm to 9:30pm; Fridays 4:45pm to 8:30pm; and Sundays 11:45am to 5:30pm.
• There is also the opportunity to be scheduled for additional shifts outside of the specific shifts.
• Required to work the annual July Fitness Event and attend all meetings/trainings.
