**Job Summary:**

Serve as a multi-craft Maintenance Technician for all related maintenance repairs and upgrades. Maintain facility and equipment to meet production schedule, promoting teamwork and efficiency, ensuring the safe operation of equipment and grounds.

## Qualifications

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Ensure compliance with Watershed Foods sanitation, GMPs, HACCP procedures, Food Safety policies, and Occupational Safety Policies.
  • Efficiently troubleshoot, correct, and repair equipment as needed.
  • Complete maintenance tasks, including pump/gearbox rebuilds, electrical troubleshooting, mechanical component replacement, piping changes, and small fabrication projects.
  • Collaborate with and oversee contractors for project and maintenance tasks.
  • Propose process improvements to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to eliminate recurring issues.
  • Maintain a clean work area and detailed records.
  • Be available for call-in situations, including weekends and other shifts.

**Skills & Qualifications:**

  • Minimum of 4 years of industrial maintenance experience. (Examples: Electronic/Control systems, pneumatics, PLC Systems, Industrial Automation & Industrial Refrigeration)
  • Ability to troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of electricity and electronic principles. (Examples: motor starters, contactors, relays, 3 phase power)
  • Experience troubleshooting and installing/aligning mechanical components. (Examples: pumps, gear boxes, bearings & conveyors)
  • Understanding of electrical schematics and P&IDs.
  • Team-oriented personality.
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment by adjusting priorities to meet production needs.
  • Well-developed sense of personal initiative and decision making.
  • Meet expectations of lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying necessary for the job (100lbs) in extreme hot and cold conditions.
  • Ability to install electrical conduit in accordance with NEC preferred.
  • Experience in food manufacturing preferred.
  • Knowledge of industrial refrigeration principles.
