## JOB SUMMARY
As a Systems Analyst, your primary responsibility is to analyze and optimize the university’s systems, applications, and databases to ensure their efficiency and effectiveness in supporting the institution’s academic and administrative functions. Your role requires a strong technical skillset and an understanding of the university’s needs and priorities enabling the institution to better serve its students, staff, and faculty.

Reports to: Director of Student Information Systems
Supervisory Responsibility: N/A
Indirect Supervisory Responsibility: N/A
ESSENTIAL DUTIES - May include, but is not limited to the following
- Analyzing existing systems and business processes, identifying areas for improvement to optimize workflows and streamline processes.
- Designing, developing, testing, and implementing new systems and applications.
- Collaborating with university stakeholders to identify business requirements and develop technical solutions that meet those needs.
- Utilize SQL to create and maintain stored procedures, jobs, and processes.
- Providing second-level technical support to university staff and faculty to resolve system-related issues and ensure the smooth operation of critical systems.
- Managing system security and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
- Training end-users on new systems and applications and providing ongoing support as needed.
- Conducting system audits and performance evaluations to ensure systems are meeting service level agreements and performance metrics.

## Qualifications
EDUCATION
Required Education
High School/GED
Preferred Education
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other related field.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
N/A
EXPERIENCE
Required
At least one year experience in systems analysis, design, development, and implementation.
Preferred
- Experience in the higher education sector is a plus
- Jenzabar experience is preferred
