### **Do you enjoy fixing things, solving problems, and keeping a building running smoothly?** We're looking for a dependable, hands-on **Maintenance Technician** to help maintain a warm, welcoming environment for our residents and staff.

### **What You'll Do**

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facility
• Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing issues (faucets, toilets, drains, etc.)
• Complete basic electrical repairs (light fixtures, switches, outlets, bulbs)
• Perform carpentry and general handyman work
• Assist with painting, patching walls, and minor renovations
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests
• Assist with snow removal
• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment
• Work collaboratively with other departments and outside vendors when needed

## Qualifications

**What We're Looking For**

1. Experience in **general maintenance, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry**
2. Ability to safely use hand and power tools
3. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
4. Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
5. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
6. Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
7. High school diploma or GED preferred
8. Previous maintenance experience in a healthcare, residential, hospitality, or commercial setting is a plus
9. Must successfully complete a pre-hire drug screening, criminal history record check and TB screening
