Diesel Mechanic

## Description

**We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills and a comprehensive understanding of Prevost buses or any bus manufacturers. This role requires effective communication with team members, management and drivers while maintaining compliance with safety regulations.**

**Responsibilities:**

• Dedication to providing the safest and most efficient coaches/trucks to our drivers and customers.
• Perform DOT-compliant maintenance on all vehicles/equipment within our fleet.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on all vehicles/equipment within our fleet.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all major systems such as engines, transmissions, DEF systems, AC systems, and driver safety mitigation devices/systems.
• Utilize OEM Diagnostic platforms for troubleshooting/repair and participate in training opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs performed on all vehicles
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.

## Qualifications
**Experience/Qualifications:**

• 4+ years of diesel engine and/or trailer repair experience **minimum**
• Ability to work on a variety of heavy/medium duty diesel vehicles & equipment
• Working knowledge of vehicle systems such as hydraulics, air brakes, electrical, etc.
• Strong knowledge of basic mechanical tools.
• Familiar with Detroit 60 series, Volvo Engines, and Allison Transmissions.
• Familiar with Prevost buses or any bus manufacturers
• Good skills with Aftertreatment Diagnostics.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with drivers, team members, and management.
