## **Overview**

The Senior Superintendent is responsible for leading and overseeing field operations on commercial construction projects to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role provides leadership to field teams, coordinates project activities, and serves as the primary field representative for Miles McClellan.

## **What You'll Do**

• Lead and oversee all field operations from project startup through completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, field personnel, materials, equipment, and project resources.
• Partner with Project Managers, owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners to ensure successful project execution.
• Develop and manage project schedules, manpower plans, and daily work activities.
• Monitor project progress and proactively resolve field issues to maintain schedule, budget, and quality goals.
• Provide technical guidance on construction methods, sequencing, and constructability challenges.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and jobsite procedures.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings and promote a strong safety culture across all project teams.
• Manage labor productivity, equipment utilization, material usage, and overall field performance.
• Review and maintain project documentation, including daily reports, scheduling updates, look-aheads, extra work, and as-built information.
• Support preconstruction planning, trade coordination, and project startup activities.
• Mentor, develop, and lead Superintendents, Foremen, and field personnel.

## Qualifications
## **What We're Looking For**

• 8+ years of commercial construction management, superintendent, or field leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, equipment, materials, sequencing, and safety practices.
• Proven ability to lead field teams while managing schedules, budgets, and project performance.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and contract documents.
• Experience coordinating multiple trades and complex construction activities.
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with construction technology and project management software.
• OSHA 30 certification
• Ability to meet occasional jobsite physical requirements, including walking active construction sites, climbing ladders or scaffolding, and navigating varying terrain and weather conditions.
